Storage and Shelf Life

All rice cakes should be stored at room temperature away from direct heat, sunlight, air conditioning, and heater.

All products are made to be eaten on the day of the celebration. We will not be held liable for any damages and illness caused by misuse of our products.

Please freeze rice cakes immediately if you plan to not eat it the same day.

Reheating Rice Cakes

If you choose to freeze the rice cakes at your own discretion, here are some tips to reheat:
-Microwave in short bursts at a time until a toothpick at the center goes in and comes out.
-Re-steam in a steamer pot until a toothpick at the center goes in and comes out.

*If there is any cream on your rice cakes, it must be removed before re-heating. Our bean paste cream will thaw naturally without any re-heating.
*If you are re-heating a cake shaped rice cake, it is easier to re-heat if it’s cut into slices/pieces.

Can I pickup the day before?

All rice cakes are made to be eaten on the same day of the celebration.
Naturally, rice cake naturally gets hard throughout the day as it’s made from rice.
If you do decide to pick up your rice cakes the day before, I recommend storing it in the refrigerator.
The next day, you can take it out of the refrigerator about one hour before to display on your table.
Do not reheat your rice cakes before taking your pictures.
After you are done taking pictures, refer to the instructions on “Re-heating Rice Cakes” on our FAQ.
