“celebrating special moments, creating everlasting memories”

Eunice continues to be inspired by her late father who was a Korean Rice Cake Maker for quite some time.
She respects and loves her father who has made traditional Korean rice cakes for 15 years and is proud to continue his legacy.
Eunice learned the business and the skills over the years besides her father.
Her desire is greater than ever to serve the best Korean rice cakes.

In 2016, Eunice began to modernize the traditional Korean rice cakes into beautiful hand-piped floral rice cakes and cupcakes.
It was a simple desire to be more creative while collaborating with her father while preserving the Korean rice cake tradition.
Thankfully, customers loved it and it quickly and steadily grew with word-of-mouth.

Today, Eunice continues to evolve her work and strives to bring meaningful products.
She finds fulfillment in celebrating special moments and creating everlasting memories with her clients through her work.
Her family has been a part of countless celebrations, making over tens of thousands of rice cakes over the years.
Eunice has seen couples engaged, married, to having their 1st, 2nd, 3rd babies.
Babies in strollers to toddlers walking, celebrating 100 days, 1st birthday, to 100 year old birthday.
From birth of life, to celebrating the life that has come to an end as well. She has seen it all.

Even though she misses her father, she feels connected to him through making rice cakes.
It's something more than just a rice cake business for Eunice.

Eunice's work has been featured on Hulu "Taste the Nation" with Padma Lakshmi, NBCLA, Style Me Pretty, and more.

For those who are new to our business, welcome!

Lucky Rice Cake was a retail Korean rice cake "떡 dduk" shop located
in Koreatown, Los Angeles.
This year 2023, we had matured our lease and decided to not renew this location.
Therefore, that location is now closed.

During this transition, we will serve referrals only
through our event planners, family, and friends.
(For our repeat clients, we will try our best to
accommodate you if our schedule allows)
We’ve re-located to Torrance, CA as a home bakery.
Though we would like to be able to serve everyone, it is not possible at this time.
When this changes, I will be so happy to announce!
